2. Information we collect
When you send us an enquiry, we may collect:
- your name, work email, company or organisation and country or region;
- your work title, phone number and company website where you choose to provide them;
- the service you are interested in, your project stage and your message;
- how you heard about us, where you choose to provide that information; and
- technical and security information generated when you use the website.
If you consent to Google Analytics, we also receive analytics information such as website usage, approximate location, device/browser information and session statistics. We do not send the contents of your contact form to Google Analytics.
3. Why we use your information and our lawful bases
- Responding to enquiries and discussing potential work: to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and, where appropriate, our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and developing our services.
- Operating and securing the website: our legitimate interests in providing a reliable and secure website and protecting our systems.
- Website analytics: your consent. Google Analytics remains off unless you choose to accept analytics.
4. Who we share information with
We use service providers where needed to operate the website and respond to enquiries. These currently include Vercel for website hosting, Google Workspace for handling business email, and Google Analytics for website measurement where you have consented.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our legal rights, or in connection with professional advisers where appropriate.
5. International transfers
Some service providers may process personal information outside the UK. Where UK data protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we rely on the provider's applicable lawful transfer mechanism, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards.
6. How long we keep information
We normally keep prospective-client and general contact enquiries for 24 months after the last meaningful interaction. If an enquiry becomes a client relationship, relevant business, contractual and financial records may be retained for longer where necessary for the relationship or to meet legal obligations.
We intend to configure Google Analytics user-level and event-level data retention to 2 months. Google's aggregated reporting is subject to Google's service settings and documentation.
7. Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask us for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or to object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
To exercise a right, email hello@olatunjitech.com.
8. Complaints
If you have concerns, please contact us first so we can try to resolve them. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Information about making a complaint is available at ico.org.uk.
